Honrev strives to increase your trust. Here are some of the principles we live by to ensure we are the most trusted and premier resource for helping online shoppers buy better.

Our main content is all product reviews that are directly published. We understand that sometimes brands and consumers have different opinions. We stand by our mission that all reviews are worthy of publication on Honrev and are impartial towards reviewers and brand or product owners.


Values That Our Community Holds

We are a global community of curious consumers who have deep conversations about how and what they buy. We apply the same standards to all of our members/users, including our internal teams, product owners on our platform, our Honrev community, and every other user on Honestly. We are committed to building a community based on honesty, trust and curiosity.

  1. Honesty
    We share honestly and transparently, starting from personal experiences with a brand and its products. Our experience, if positive, shows how the brand met our needs or exceeded our expectations. Our response, although negative, was thoughtful and constructive.
  2. Trust
    Trust is at the heart of our Honrev community and everything we do. We ask users to complete their profiles to offer other users more context about their reviews. We ask users to share any affiliations (i.e. investors, friends, employees, etc.) with the brands they have reviewed to provide a complete picture of any biases they may have.   3. Curiosity
    We are excited about the opportunity to learn something new, discover new products and brands, and build new connections. Our community helps each other discover new things and in building lists and creating content that is relevant and useful for other users.

 

What Do We Prevent?

Community is at the heart of Honrev. We want our users to feel safe, valued and heard on our platform. When someone (a brand owner or user) exploits these standards for their own agenda, the review page, user, or brand may be flagged. Our team will review user profiles, and reviews and content that violate our guidelines will be removed. Under certain circumstances, the profile may be blocked.
